Political bullets: The seas are storming!

The political seas are proving to be rough waters as election 2012 emerges.  The combination of difficult economic times, a changing media landscape, and new demographic terrains are creating cross currents, hurricane winds, and giant waves of voter opinion.

Here are some conditions that you can look out for as you venture out into the political oceans:

Rising Tide: Democratic donors are so worried about a GOP ticket that includes Marco Rubio that they have already started to invest money to cool Latinos to the U.S. Senator from Florida, anybody considered just electing more Democratic Latino Senators?

Riptide: Some conservative congressional members want to revive the “gays in the military” debate by introducing legislation this year that would prohibit gay and lesbian troops from marriage, many gay and lesbian Americans are curious to see how Gingrich will defend those efforts.

Sinking Ship:  The RNC Chair throws a gutter punch and compares President Obama to Captain Schettino who stands accused of dishonorably abandoning his wrecked cruise ship, however after a couple more days of intense backlash from donors that want the Republican Party to appear more moderate Republican Party leader Reince Priebus may be looking for a lifeboat himself.
