If you watch the new video for “Me Voy” (out today) featuring Paulina Rubio and Espinoza Paz, you’ll notice a little surprise at the end: Rubio, staying in character for a little too long after the crew has yelled “Cut!”

And who can blame her? Pedro Yuri, the Brazilian man-god from Contempo Models who was brilliantly cast as the guy that comes along to save her aching heart after someone has broken it, is to this video what William Levy was to Jennifer Lopez in “I’m Into You.” Recall that the latter was released shortly after Lopez announced her split from Marc Anthony in 2011.

The passionate smooch in “Me Voy” will certainly set tongues wagging, particularly because in real-life, Rubio is also newly single. She and her husband of five years, Spanish businessman Nicolás Vallejo-Nágera, announced their separation earlier this month after five years of marriage. They are parents to a boy, Andrea Nicolás, born in November 2010.

Vallejo-Nágera spoke about the separation to Hola, “She’s the love of my life,” he told the tabloid, “and I will always be grateful to her.”

But this new video shows Rubio back to her sexy self, in fabulous little outfits that show off those hot legs most women would kill for.
