Todays bullets: high stakes poker

The days when poker was only a backroom sport or one confined to Nevada are long gone. For at least the last decade poker has become an obsession for many Americans. In the age of poker TV and online poker was there any doubt that high stakes cards would reach the nation’s capitol? Here are a few of the D.C. tournament rules to look for:

Calling a Bluff: GOP operatives try to avoid the gay marriage debate over the weekend as the Obama team finally realizes that you can raise when you have a good hand.

Flush: Arizona voters are prepared to make history as the once solidly GOP state is a battle ground leaning towards Obama thanks to anti-Latino GOP actions.

Raising the Stakes: Elizabeth Warren is calling for Jamie Dimon the CEO of JPMorgan to resign, the embattled CEO sought to weaken his critics over the weekend by apologizing for the $2 Billion loss in general but not taking responsibility for anything in particular.
