BabyFirst Americas and Animag Launch Search for Next Generation of Animators

 

As you know I have embarked on a a new project that is designed to bring Latino themed educational content to all of Americas children.   The new channel – BabyFirst Americas – has already begun to roll out and will soon be available to millions of Comcast cable households throughout the country.

The goal of the channel is to reach the general market with content that reflects and engages all of America’s children. The mainstream channel will also include a special emphasis on Latino themed programs.

We just launched a contest to help us find America’s next generation of animators. We are partnering with Animation Magazine on this important effort.

At BabyFirst Americas know that there is a huge amount of talent throughout the country, and especially among young people. This contest is our way of not only tapping into that creative brilliance, but also to give back to the Latino community in a very real way  and we’re excited to take a look at what the animators have to offer.

The future of our country demands that we work together in new and creative ways to reach the youngest in the next generation and stimulate their learning. It is important to do this not only rhetorically or politically but also in concrete ways.  If you know a budding animators please send them this link. We need their talent.
