26-Episode Preschool Short-Form Latino-Oriented Animated Series
To Debut On BabyFirst Americas February 2013
BabyFirst Americas, a leading television network for babies, toddlers and their parents airing on Comcast cable systems nationwide, has licensed Mili y Molo, a bilingual educational series of 26 short-form episodes produced by New York-based Bilingual Children’s Enterprises for debut in February 2013, it was announced by Mario Solis-Marich, VP of Programming BabyFirst Americas and Deborah Castillero, CEO of Bilingual Enterprises.
Aimed at preparing toddlers and preschoolers for kindergarten, Mili y Molo allow their curiosity to take them on all kinds of educational adventures where they discover the world around them. Produced in both Spanish and English, the Latino-oriented animated series features age-appropriate music and comedy crafted for growing children to laugh, pay, sing and, most importantly, learn.
Mili y Molo® began as a book series with combined sales of over 460,000 copies in Puerto Rico, Mexico, California and Canada. Following on the heels of Mili y Molo’s impressive popularity across the Latino market, Bilingual Children’s Enterprises Deborah Castillero and Mili y Molo author Mónica Mejías joined forces to develop the acclaimed books into a series for television.
