Brazilian music for summer (Audio)

It’s hard keeping track of all the music throughout New York in the summer. There’s always some great artist in town, an amazing band you need to discover or a festival to check out.

One of my favorite festivals to thrive in the New York heat is Brasil Summerfest, which is excellently curated to include both classic artists and a wide variety of new acts. Whether you sway to samba, bounce to Brazilian hip-hop or groove to old school Brazilian rock ‘n’ roll, this festival has something for you.

And who better to ask about the artists than Béco Dranoff, one of the show curators? Béco tells us about some of his favorites in the upcoming festival. As they say in Brazil, Muito Legal! (Very Cool!)
