An agreement among small Hispanic companies, big corporations, a non-profit and a local university has resulted in the creation of a "culturally appropriate" leadership program for Hispanic professionals in the Rocky Mountains.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Alejandro Mayorkas announced a series of policy initiatives designed to “fuel the nation’s economy and stimulate investment” by attracting foreign entrepreneurs who can invest in fields of high unemployment, create jobs, and form startup companies.
