Latino voters: jobs and immigration top concerns, low awareness of GOP candidates
Last week, the results of a national poll of Latino voters focused on their attitudes toward health care policy, with a majority in favor of keeping the Affordable Care Act in general was released. Other results from the poll, including how Latinos feel about the 2012 GOP presidential hopefuls was also released.

Over the next four decades, Latinos are projected to account for more than two-thirds of this country’s population growth. Yet the current Latino unemployment rate remains unacceptably high at 11.3 percent. The President and I agreed that Congress must act now to help the nearly one million Latinos who’ve been looking for a job for six months or more.
