On August 17th MTV will air the premiere of "Inocente," a heartbreaking film that tells the story of a resilient 15 year-old Latina who, as an undocumented homeless immigrant, steadfastly pursues her dream of becoming an artist.

Buoyed by the ratings success of its first teen telenovela, "Ninas mal" (Charm School), last year, MTV Latin America is ramping up original production with a second telenovela in the works, "Popland."
